More Journeys..
So many things happen in this life journey and sometimes you wonder who is the Captain of this vessel. I want to say that God is but as much as I want Him there ,I seem to grab the wheel and try to steer in another direction many times. I'm sure it's like that in many peoples lives, trusting but not fully. So we try to navigate away from the bad things that we see in front of us, desperate not to let it happen, unfortunately, we aren't suppose to avoid the storm. So we hit it head on and try as best we can, only to find that the wheel is spinning out of control. Finally when we are at that last resort, we turn over the wheel to the Lord and he steers us through the storm. We got a bumpy ride, tossed about, and scared but once we let Him take the wheel, HE steered us in the right direction and calmed the storm. I guess it falls back to Adam and Eve, when they were given a choice, good or evil, right or wrong. We aren't any different today than they were except we have the Book. Oh, I have read it, not fully understanding it like so many, but the basics are there. Faith, Trust, Honor, and Love. I'm sure everyone can add there own to the list.My journey is 59 years now and only God knows how much time I have left since we are never guaranteed a tomorrow. Hopefully I will start turning over the wheel more freely as I continue on in this long journey. The best part of this journey is knowing that I am not alone. Whatever comes my way, I will hold tight to the Captain.
